Health in English Creams
Aside from Aesthetics in English Creams, health is also a key component as to why pet-owners prefer English Cream Retrievers over American Golden. A health study in 1998 conducted by the Golden Retriever Club of America states that cancer is the cause of death in 61.8% of American Golden Retrievers (Glickman, Larry et al. "The Golden Retriever Club of America National Health Survey". Purdue School of Veterinary Medicine, 1998.) However, in English Cream Golden Retrievers, the percentage is a mere 38.8% (British Kennel Club Scientific Committee. "Summary Results of Purebred Dog Health Survey for Golden Retrievers".)
The latter of the studies states that purebred English Cream Golden's live and average of 2 years more than they typical purebred American Golden, and have roughly half of the health problems due to their excellent breeding. The money intitally saved in buying an American Golden Retriever is insignificant in comparison to the veterinary expenses to be saved from purchasing an English Cream.

Our family has been striving to be one of the premiere imported English Cream White Golden Retriever breeders in the USA. Our dogs have a tremendous bloodline of multi-champions. Our imported Goldens are from only the finest breeders in the world. The father (Angus) of our puppies has been honored and is from a top breedline in Russia . The mother (Novia) is a beautiful female who comes from a Champion bloodline in Spain.
We breed healthy and quality parents to produce an excellent puppy with a great temperament. We desire to preserve this outstanding breed of English Creme Goldens in the USA.
We are a small family kennel in Snowflake Arizona. Our English Cream puppies enjoy our beautiful 2 acres. Our mission is to provide families with beautiful, healthy, and well socialized English Creams to love. We specialize in English Cream Golden Retrievers.
The temperament of the English Cream Golden Retriever is a hallmark of the breed and is described in the standard as "kindly, friendly and confident". They are not "one man dogs" and are generally equally amiable with both strangers and those familiar to them. Their trusting, gentle disposition therefore makes them a poor guard dog, however a wonderful family dog. The typical English Cream Retriever is calm, naturally intelligent and biddable, with an exceptional eagerness to please.
Most goldens are high energy and need planty of exercise, such as dog agility.
English cream Golden Treievers are also noted for their intelligence. The Cream Golden Retriever ranks 4th in Stanley Coren's the Intelligence of Dogs, being one of the brightest dogs ranked by obedience command trainability. These dogs are also renowned for their patience with children.
